Stash is sold as a recurring subscription. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how to cancel future billing. It supplements — and does not override — your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
The free plan is, well, free. There's nothing to refund. You can use it indefinitely without entering payment details, so you can confirm Stash works for you before paying.
If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK and you bought a Stash subscription as a consumer (not as a business), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the initial purchase, for any reason.
To exercise this right, email stash.admin@gmail.com from the address on your account within 14 days of the first charge. We will refund the full amount you paid for that purchase, using the original payment method, within 14 days of receiving your request.
If you start using paid features before the 14 days are up, you accept that the service is being supplied immediately and may forfeit the cooling-off right under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m). We will apply this exception only when it clearly applies; in borderline cases we default to a refund.
Outside the 14-day cooling-off window, Stash subscriptions are generally non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
That said, we will review refund requests case by case for situations such as:
You can cancel at any time, no questions asked. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
Your paid features remain active until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, the account drops back to the free plan. Your captures and notes stay intact.

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Stash uses Lemon Squeezy as its merchant of record. Your card statement may show "LEMON SQUEEZY" or a similar descriptor instead of "Stash". Refunds and chargebacks are processed through Lemon Squeezy, and certain taxes (VAT, GST, US sales tax) are handled by them on our behalf.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Changes do not affect refund rights for purchases made before the change took effect.
